Satisfied with Product, Not with Add-On Services
I purchased the 236 L Samsung refrigerator from Amazon, and the product itself is very good. It is ideal for a family of four. The cooling performance is satisfactory, and the design is neat. One feature I found especially useful is the convertible freezer compartment, which can be converted into a normal refrigerator section when needed. This adds good flexibility depending on storage requirements.However, I would like to highlight two important concerns regarding the services associated with this purchase.First, Amazon charged ₹99 for Open Box Inspection. This service was not provided at the time of delivery. When I asked the delivery personnel to open the box, they informed me that the installation person would handle it and left without conducting the inspection. So the amount paid for this service was wasted.Second, I opted for the buy-back offer and paid ₹225 for it. After inspection, the pickup team declined the buy-back request stating that the old refrigerator was rusted underneath which I too agreed. Later, I had to directly speak with their office and negotiate separately to dispose of my old refrigerator for scrap value. Since the official buy-back was rejected, the ₹225 paid through Amazon also became futile.In total, I incurred a loss of ₹324 (₹99 + ₹225).The refrigerator is good, but should be careful while opting for paid add-on services. I wanted to highlight these points.4 stars

Pathetic samsung service centre.
Never order.Samsung will never pick our call for service .I got the fridge on 5 august and the fridge is not working from the day one.Nobody is responding.My 23000 is gone.First the demo technician came and he didn’t check whether the compressor and oil is working correctly. 2 days after running the fridge i got to know it is not cooling even the slightest bit. Then I contacted them and a service technician came twice, he found out that it’s the problem with oil leak in the compressor and he left. Later that day I got a phone call from the customer care(local) that they have ordered the compressor which I’ll get it in 3 days on one condition that I’ll get additional one year warranty . After 3 days no calls from their side i tried to contact them many times they didn’t respond and I registered a complaint in Samsung website. Amazon doesn’t really care much after the product gets delivered .I tried to speak with Amazon customer care and they were not ready for return or even replacement . They told me to contact the Samsung service centre . Samsung service centre doesn’t provide a correct date and also they won’t respond to us with clarity. Today is August 15 . When I called them today they told me they have arranged for a replacement and I’ll get it in 7 days . I’m waiting to see what happens. Customers make sure the demo technician is doing his job perfectly and only allow him to leave the house if the refrigerator is working properly else you will regret later if the product is faulty. 20 august – they approved my refund request after so many efforts from my side thank you Amazon for this 15 days of making me call you, message you talk to you for hours without getting resolution and finally after this ordeal approving my refund request. E commerce next level. 🫡.25 August – As Samsung has promised me the replacement product will arrive today very happy to know as usual they made me wait for more days and told me the new product will arrive on 27 August . Amazon from their side has promised me to give me back the extra amount that I’ve to pay to purchase the same model fridge as gift card and they will take backmy faulty product with refund . Samsung is becoming a very bad product with almost no reliability in customer service. If you are a prime customer and you have the time to always keep phoning and texting you can buy this product. Ordered the new fridge (not replacement) on August 27 and the old fridge is scheduled for pickup on 30 August . The return pickup finally happened on August 30 now I’m waiting for the refund .Samsung should actually be sued for dragging me through all these and wasting my time ,Amazon should have communicated with Samsung regarding this but the executives told me they cannot do that.

The refrigerator is good, but I wouldn’t recommend buying it using the No Cost EMI method. You end up paying extra because the ‘No Cost EMI discount’ is often taken back if you return the item to Amazon. The team mentioned that the bank still charges interest on the amount.
